Good health doesn’t have to be bland. Just ask model and actress Olivia Culpo, who partnered with Thorne to host a supper club dinner experience in New York City featuring her favorite Thorne nutritional supplements mixed into each dish.

Guests enjoyed a five-course tasting menu that incorporated Thorne nutritional supplements into each dish. Culpo designed the menu to put a delicious twist on supplements for a fun-filled and educational evening. Check out our favorite recipes from the night below!

The menu featured a Sicilian Crudo, Spring Pea Salad, Spaghetti alla Vongole, Bistecca alla Florentina, and Passion Fruit Tiramisu. Each dish incorporated Thorne supplements like Daily Greens Plus, FiberMend®, MediClear Plus®, L-Glutamine Powder, and Whey Protein Isolate.

Green Goddess Dressing

Full of flavor from fresh herbs, zesty lime juice, and Thorne’s Daily Greens Plus, this creamy dressing will zhuzh up any salad!

Yields 4 cups // Prep time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup pumpkin seeds
  • ¼ cup creme fraiche or Greek yogurt (make it vegan with your favorite nondairy alternative!)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 5 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 scoops Thorne’s Daily Greens Plus
  • ½ cup fresh mint leaves
  • ¼ cup fresh tarragon leaves
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • ½ cup fresh parsley leaves
  • ½ cup fresh chopped chives
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 cup olive oil

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients except for the oil to a blender cup.
  2. Blend at medium speed and gradually drizzle in the oil to emulsify.
  3. Serve with your favorite salads or drizzle over steamed vegetables.  

Passion Fruit Tiramisu

Although small, passion fruit are rich in polyphenols and vitamin C. A fruity twist on the late-night Italian favorite, this tropical tiramisu features two kinds of Thorne’s Whey Protein Isolate.

10 servings // Prep time: 30 minutes, plus 6 hours refrigeration

  1. In a medium bowl, beat together egg yolks, sugar, Thorne’s Whey Protein Isolate – Vanilla, and rum until foamy.
  2. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until fluffy and stiff. Fold the mascarpone cheese into the egg whites.
  3. Use a spoon to gently stir the egg yolk mixture into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. One at a time, dip half of the ladyfingers into the passion fruit concentrate until moistened but not soggy. Place the dipped ladyfingers in a single layer covering the bottom of a square or rectangle serving dish. Cover the ladyfingers with half of the mascarpone cream mixture and some of the fresh passion fruit pulp.
  5. Repeat layering of the ladyfingers dipped in passion fruit concentrate and top with the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  6. Refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 6 hours, or overnight.
  7. Before serving, sprinkle the tiramisu with Thorne’s Whey Protein Isolate – Chocolate and spoon the remaining fresh passion fruit pulp over the top.
