My name is Anna Teerlinck, and I own + operate Fempower Physiotherapy, a pelvic health and childbirth education company based out of Austin, Texas. Fempower Physio prioritizes a holistic approach to healthcare, meaning we partner with local providers who are specialists in their respective fields to ensure folks have access to only the best education and support during, not only their prenatal and postpartum journey, but throughout their reproductive years and even through menopause. We prioritize the well-being of the whole, ensuring a client's focus on healing their pelvic floor does not just identify areas of growth in the pelvis, but also includes their strength training regimen, daily activity levels, nutrient deficiencies, and more. Pregnancy and postpartum is one of the most energy consuming and nutrient depleting seasons of someone's life, and many greatly benefit from supplementing their bodies with appropriate fuel and nutrition. Speaking as a mother and as a medical professional, I am passionate about ensuring other birthers are able to supplement their bodies in a way that's clean, carries no additives, and is backed by medical clinical trials. When I was searching for my own prenatal, protein powder, and then creatine postpartum to rebuild muscle, I immediately started looking into what was safest for breastfeeding.
