Immugen® Details
Small companion animals face numerous immune system challenges, especially when they are either very young or older. Immugen supplements vitamins, minerals, amino acids, botanicals, and glandular ingredients that optimize a companion animal's immune system function.
For example, studies have demonstrated the ability of Echinacea angustifolia to activate the body's natural killer cells, which enhances the ability of other cell types to engulf harmful foreign substances. Astragalus membranaceus has a long history of use for stimulating immune function. Reishi mushroom extract stimulates B- and T-lymphocytes, the major cellular components of the body's adaptive immune response. Thymus extracts can naturally enhance several immune parameters. Zinc promotes acquired immunity and macrophage function. And vitamins A and C support the production and activity of white blood cells.
