Dr. Patrick Ward, D.C, SFMA, GTS TPI MEDICAL 2 CERTIFIED Chiropractor A native to Newark,, Delaware, Dr. Ward received a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with a minor in Biology from Lincoln University and his Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, Georgia in 1999. While obtaining his doctorate and treating patients, Dr. Ward continues his education unlike most. He has completed over 40 seminars during his career to date. These range from but are not limited to, Graston Technique, Kinesio Taping, Functional Movement Screening, Selective Functional Motion Assessment and most recently TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Medical 2 Certification. He has a unique ability to make complex situations enticing, this has led him to annually take these continuing seminars so that he can improve the care that he gives to his patients by keeping up with what is current, but to also continue to feed his eagerness to learn & educate. Dr. Ward’s passion has always been his ability to assist others. It is not just his profession, but it is genuinely who he is. His approach is unique and he continues to grow relationships with every person who walks into his presence. His sense of humor will always lighten the room, his smile is infectious, and his personality optimistic and enthusiastic, but when it comes to someone’s care, he is very direct and encouraging. He has committed his life to promoting optimal health and well-being of patients. He takes the “whole person approach” to wellness to help the people of Wilmington, Delaware. This means that Dr. Ward, as well as the patient, look for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time. He identifies the cause, intervenes, and makes any lifestyle adjustments that would optimize conditions for normal function and a higher quality of life. Using this unique approach, Dr. Ward has been able to assist his community accelerate or even maintain their journey to good health.
